Description
QST 713 strain of Bacillus subtilis 26.2%Serenade® Opti is a fungicide and bactericide that works in three different ways to fight disease-causing pathogens. Stopping harmful spores from germinating, it disrupts the cell membrane growth and inhibits attachment of the pathogen to the leaf. The multiple sites of action not only create an effective fungicide, but also make it very difficult for diseases to develop resistance.

Fungicides are meant to be used as part of a comprehensive spray program. When fungicides are used in rotation with other fungicides having different modes of action (or FRAC numbers), they work as intended. When the same fungicide is used consecutively, it creates a resistant fungal population and will fail at preventing infection. Most fungicides are protectants and not curatives. They will protect your plants from becoming infected but will not cure an infection already started. Read and follow label directions for rates and spray intervals.
