Description

Sovran Fungicide is a 50% water-dispersible granular formula that provides superior protection against fungal diseases on apples, grapes, pears, cucurbit vegetables, and other pome fruit and pecans. It uses Kresoxim-methyl as its active ingredient which offers curative and preventative control of key diseases on crops such as powdery mildew, scab, alternaria blotch, fruit spot, gummy stem blight, black rot, phomopsis cane and leaf spot, downy mildew, and bunch rot. Its active ingredient belongs to strobilurin class of fungicides which are the group of respiration inhibitors that are effective against fungi that are resistant to other fungicides with different modes of action. It also prevents sporulation, spore germination, and mycelial growth on the surface of the leaves. This unique formula can be used in rotation with other fungicides to achieve maximum control and protection against plant pathogens.
